You have mentioned that before, I believe you and the statement attributed to Dave, it should be of concern to citizens of Preble County.  The defeat of Chris Day in November needs to be a priority but the citizens also need to know where Eric Green (his only announced opponent) stands on Goose Creek. His position needs to be publically covered as it will achieve nothing to substitute one Goose Creek supporter with another.  Voters need to know what the options are and what is at stake. Chris has stated on the record in the past that without Goose Creek there is no need for Shawnda. Does he still feel that way?

This being the third time Goose Creek has been reviewed and turned down by the state should tell the citizens of Preble County that the emphasis put on Goose Creek by this Commission is misplaced. This having been the fourth and final round of the Job Ready Site program will eliminate it as a future source of funding.  Dave Wesler is the one constant through all three rounds of JRS applications.

The official release of the JRS award winners was apparently Thursday, April 19. I would not be surprised to learn that Preble County officials knew some time ago that they were again being turned down.  On April 2, 2012 the Commission went into Executive Session to discuss the possible sale of county owned land. Shawnda sent out a self congratulatory press release on March 22. The year on the header was listed erroneously as 2011, so we have a pretty good idea that it was Shawnda (who has a history of typos) who prepared it.

1:“Hey in 2013 at such and such we are going to have facilities up there and we can supply you water and sewer. Quite frankly until we get to that point, she has nothing to market.”

2: “And if we don't move forward basically Shawnda we have no really need for Shawnda at that point because she has got nothing to market there.”

Commissioner Wesler - Well other than you know we were hinging heavily on the Job Ready Site Grant last time and ahh just we are talking lots of dollars here so I want make sure the different scenarios. That's why I'd like to see it down on your paper. Ahh by you emailing it to us but I don't think so at the moment. It is just staggering numbers here but I understand what the potential could be. How much has Frank been paid already from let's say Kleingers

I don’t think there was any intent to disrespect Camden on this cruiser issue. It was good use of an older cruiser. The county probably should have sold the cruiser they gave to Meigs. The money could have gone toward a video system to record county commission meetings.   It also appears to me that this commission feels burned by comments made in the November 8, Register Herald.  Camden and the county were done wrong by sending the landfill leachate line to Lakengren.
